We know that every adult deserves to feel that they are part of a family. They deserve to feel surrounded by people who care for them and shower them with lots of attention throughout their lives. We aim to place every adult in our care in a compassionate, fun environment that will allow them to develop their individuality and emotional well-being, along with the support of a specialist.

Movie Nights

Our movie nights are full of entertainment and a sure way to cure loneliness. At Patrick’s Home, we host a movie night every weekend with popcorn and healthy snacks, keeping everyone comfy as well as entertained.

Puzzles And Games

Puzzles and games are designed to create meaningful memories and positively impact their well-being. Patrick’s Home strives to help adults with special needs with physical, cognitive, and sensory development, building meaningful strength.

Arts and Crafts

Arts & Crafts is a relaxing activity that’s great for adults with developmental disabilities. It allows them to express themselves and release emotions. We provide them with all the supplies required to create a spark of creativity.

Cooking

Patrick’s Home team provides an entirely safe environment for adults with a particular need for in-home cooking activities. We share recipes that are quick and simple to make but still delicious and healthy.

Story Reading Time

Patrick’s Home provides excellent story time for adults, featuring literacy training that improves their reading and comprehension skills. With a wide selection of teaching & entertainment material, ranging from comics to inspirational books and masterpieces of literature.

Special Needs Adults can enjoy life in a community setting surrounded by peers who understand what they go through each day. At Patrick’s Home, we offer countless opportunities, including technology, sports, art classes, music lessons, and much more, to provide them with the best care possible.

Outdoor Activities

There are a variety of outdoor activities available at Patrick’s Home to keep special adults active and on their feet under consistent supervision. Our staff is trained to keep an eye on adults with disabilities. This can be exhausting, time-consuming, and a lot of hard work, so we have specialists on standby to keep an eye on them. Because it doesn’t matter how long it takes them to become comfortable with their skin, we will be here for them 24/7.

Walking

Patrick’s Home takes the adults in our care on walks to keep them active and energetic. Under complete supervision, they can see a little of the outside world, especially if they are not exposed to it.

Going to the park

Taking in fresh air from surrounding trees and grass can help improve their well-being by exercising to stay physically active. Patrick’s Home supervises the trip to the park, ensuring the safety of adults with special needs in their care.

Going to the Zoo

A trip to the zoo can be exciting, fun, and educational for any age group while under the supervision of Patrick’s Home. Adults with special needs can learn about animals and develop empathy toward them. This further creates interest in animals and a fun excuse for a trip.

Barbecue day

BBQ can be a fun and entertaining experience for adults with special needs, and Patrick’s Home can set up the BBQ without much hassle. Through supervision, BBQs will be prepared by in-house staff so they can eat without any problems.

Swimming (summer)

There are several benefits to swimming for adults with special needs. It improves their health and gives them a happiness boost. Patrick’s Home ensures safety with lifeguards at the ready.

Grocery shopping

Grocery shopping is an everyday activity shared by every individual worldwide, and Patrick’s Home makes adults with special needs feel normal with a trip to the grocery store.

Church

Patrick’s Home believes in the blessing of our lord, who loves you and wants you to be happy with your life. We believe God has blessed adults with special needs as his angels and made Patrick’s Home to take them to its humble Home.

Gardening

Seasons change, causing new flowers to bloom, and taking care of these buds can be therapeutic for adults with special needs. Patrick’s Home provides the garden, all necessary activity tools, and supervision.

Other

We will provide clients with seasonal field trips based on budget. We will volunteer at the SPCA and food bank.
